Little Bo Peep has found her Sheep!
Afternearly 5 days and numerous sightings made aroundthe local area our missing Hebredian Sheepincredibly found his own way back to the golfcourse on Sunday morning.
He was spotted by Greenkeeper Wendy on the 4thhole of the Blenheim Course and after somepersuasion by Pam, Wendy and Rusty finally gothim safely across to the other side of thecourse to be reunited with his flock.

Adam goes back to back
In the world of golf AdamScott saw off RoryMcIlroy and the chasing pack towin back to back titles on the PGA tour in anaction packed finish to the tournament.
Another great week was also had by Sheffield's DannyWillettwith SteveBeahan urging us on Fridayevening in the Spike Bar to back him to win - hewas almost correct with Danny finishing tied3rd, you feel it is only a matter of time beforehe gets his maiden victory on the PGA Tour andworth keeping an eye on.
WeekendMedal
Closer to home we had our Weekend Medal on Saturday,5 and Sunday, 6 March. It was a bleakwintery start to the Saturday morning medal asseen in the picture. This did not discourage 72players over the weekend taking part with 13 onSaturday and 59 players on Sunday. Well done toall!
Overall winner was James Daultonwith a nett 66 followed in second by DerekThomas who posted the lowestweekend's gross of 72 and a nett 67 with ourHead Chef Nick Humphryfinishing in third place also with a nett 67.

Seniors March Stableford
On Thursday, 4 February a total of 58 seniorstook part in the monthly Stableford. Despite therelative benign weather conditions only AnthonyMawson played below hishandicap scoring 40 pts.

Senior Club Matches
During the season the Senior Section will play22 matches against other clubs. The format isfourball better ball and each team consists of12 players (i.e. 6 fourballs).
Match Sheets requesting members to sign-up willbe placed on the Senior Noticeboardapproximately 3-4 weeks prior to the game, withthe final team sheet going up about 2 weeksbefore the game.
Home matches cost £12 toinclude the post-match meal; prices for awaymatches do vary but do not exceed £15.The first match is against Witney Lakes at homeon the 29th March. It is normal that members whomiss selection and are a reserve will get a gamein the next match.
Pre-Season Friendly Match
As many you know Rye Hill Golf Club has beenthrough a period of turmoil and a number oftheir senior players have joined Kirtlington,some on a temporary basis and some morepermanent. We usually play Rye Hill home andaway but these fixtures have been cancelled.
The ex-Rye Hill members wish to play a matchagainst Kirtlington (partly to say thank you fortheir welcome) and we have agreed to apre-season friendly on the 21st March. There isno meal so no match fee but it is hoped we willsocialize after the match. Match sheets for thisand the Witney Lakes Match are on the seniorSection Board.
