Congratulations to Stefan McGarrythe winner of the Kirtlington Club Masters witha two day nett score of 137, Stefan alsoachieved the lowest gross with a total of 149.

Stefanwith the Masters Flag presented by Club CaptainStan Green and players gathered on the patiowatching the final groups.
Itwas a fantastic weekend with many enjoyingthemselves after golf in the clubhousesocialising and discussing their rounds over awell deserved pint and some lunch.
A huge thanks must go to MarkJames and the team at Bang& Olufsen in Summertown Oxford for providingus with the magnificent 55 inch Plasma TV todisplay the Masters Scores leader board - it wasa fantastic way to watch the scores come in andgave that added buzz to the occasion!

In the Midweek Stableford on Wednesday,20 April we had 38 players takingpart in fantastic sunshine. MartinCross was the overall winnerwith 39 points and lowest gross (72), in secondplace was Ian Waltonwith 38 points and in third was TomStevens with 37 points.

Ladies Section
In the Ladies Victor Ludorumplayed on Tuesday, 19 Apriland Saturday, 23 April thiswas won by Jackie Thompsonwith a Nett 73, followed in second by ValerieEadle with a Nett 77 and inthird by Jabne Shaw with aNett 77.
The ladies continued their great run of a formwith victory in their home friendly againstWitney Lakes on Thursday, 21 April.
In the Weekend Stableford on Sunday, 17 Aprilthe overall winner was MargaretMoggridge with 30 points with ValerieEadle the runner up with 26points.
Seniors Matches
The Senior Team has played two matches in a weekwith away games against Carswell and CherwellEdge. Against Carswell the team lost be thenarrowest of margins, 3.5 to 2.5 with theCarswell captain sinking a 10 foot put to halvethe captains match and ensure the home victory.
Kirtlington winners were Pete M/ John Wand John D/Stuart W. AgainstCherwell the loss was more emphatic with thehome side running out 5 - 1 winners. Three ofthe games lost were decided on the last hole sothe score somewhat flattered the home side.Kirtlington's winning pair was Brian L/Stuart W.
