Hope you are all having a great week, in this edition we have news on our 21st Anniversary Gathering coming up later this month for the Founder & Past Member Trophies; we have recent junior competition news along with the eBay Shop, Afternoon Tea and much more. This week though we start with 9 hole golf.


 

   

It's Fine to Play 9! 

For those of you getting back into the routine of work and school there is still plenty of time during the week for 9 holes in the afternoon or in the evening to make the most of the light evenings. You can play the 9-Hole Blenheim or alternatively the Front 9 of the Main Course!

Gregor McKenzie came 11th in the Boys U16 North of England Champs at Pannal (For full results please click here)

Izy and Jon Edwards took the 2nd Nett Prize at the Father and Daughter Open held at Tadmarton Heath over the weekend. 

The Oxfordshire County Girls Handicap team won the Midlands South Handicap Team final on Sunday at Moseley Golf Club wining 3-0.

In the Gents Weekend Monthly Medal there were 83 players taking part across the 2 days with the Standard Scratch dropping down to 68 on the Sunday even with over 50 players taking part. Some really low scores were posted with the overall top 3 all coming from division 1! 

Top 3 scores across the 3 divisions were as follows: 

• Div 1: 1st - Anton Vircavs - Nett 64 - 2nd - Paul Knight - Nett 65 - 3rd - Clive Dickenson - Nett 65 (Lowest Gross 72) 
• Div 2: 1st - Nick Humphrey - Nett 66 - 2nd - Lawrence Whitney - Nett 66 - 3rd - Mark Webb - Nett 67 
• Div 3: 1st - Adam Smith - Nett 70 - 2nd - Markos Carr - Nett 70 - 3rd Stan Green - Nett 71

Pro Shop eBay Service

Since we launched the eBay shop we have had lots of members using this new service -If you have any old golf equipment that you would like to sell on, bring it into the Pro Shop and we will sell it for you. 

The final price, excluding the eBay selling fees, will be transferred onto your member's card for you to use throughout the clubhouse.
