Hi All, 

Hope you have had a great week both on and offthe course. After over 15 months out this weeksees the exciting return of Tiger Woods in hisown tournament the Hero Challenge, it will befascinating to see how he gets on - Great forhim and the game of golf! 

We have lots to cram into this week's newsletterwith competition results and news of a superb 46being posted in the Weekend Stableford! 

Current Winter League standings, along with ProShop News and some Greenkeepers photos fromaround the course this week.

KGCDecember Winter Open

To kick off this week's newsletter we still havetee times and spaces available for our firstwinter open of the season on Saturday 10thDecember. Reserve a tee time and sign up atreception in the Pro Shop. 

This is priced at just £5 for members andincludes tea/coffee on arrival; the rest of thefee goes towards Voucher Prizes. 

Also why not invite a guest along from anotherclub for just £20 - a great opportunity to playfor your handicap and play on full greens andtees!

Winter League Update 

The Gent's Winter League is now well underwaywith the groups now taking shape, to view thecurrent standings clickhere

Well done to the teams of DougHaynes/Adam Smithalong with Ged Mills/RichardButler who have both qualifiedwith a 100% record in theirrespective groups! 

Remember all games to be played by the 15thJanuary 2017.

Competition News

In the Gent's Weekend Stableford it was anothergreat turnout with 76 players taking part acrossthe 2 days. The overall winner and standoutscore by a 5 point margin was KevinPyke with an incredible 46points, Kevin shot a level gross on the front 9with birdie 3's on both the 5th and 6th holes! 

The top 3 scores in each division were asfollows: 

Div 1: 1st Tom Stevens39 Points, 2nd Duncan Cooper37 Points and 3rd Steve Beahan37 Points 
Div 2: 1st Kevin Pyke46 Points, 2nd Eddie Birney41 Points and 3rd Doug Haynes40 Points 
Div 3: 1st Steve Webb39 Points, 2nd John Day39 Points and 3rd Adam Smith36 Points

In the Ladies Weekend Stableford this was won byElaine Huntwith 35 Points followed by JackieThompson with 29 Points and inthird place was Valerie Eadleon 29 Points.

Along with selling items on eBay we are nowoffering member's the opportunity to sell any oftheir unwanted second hand clubs in the ProShop. 

All you need to do is bring your club(s) intous, let us know the price or price range you arehoping to get and we will put these on displayfor you in the shop.

Senior section 

Seniors November Medal

On Thursday 24th November a total of 58 seniorstook part in the monthly Medal. KevinCrumell posted the lowest grosswith a score of 77 but the lowest nett score wasfrom Bill Keyswho carded a nett 64 closely followed by RobBruce on 65, the latter winningDivision 2 for the second month in a row. 

Veteran John Duffincontinued to impress scoring his age 80 againfor a net 67. Full results were:
