Gents Weekend Medal
In the Gents Weekend Medal there were 82 playerstaking part over the 2 days, Standard Scratch onSaturday was 68 with this going up to 69 onSunday due to the heavy frost.
Interestingly the Top 3 Overall all came fromDivision 1!
In first place was Bob Stevens with a fantasticNett 64 dropping just one shot in his last 15holes! The lowest gross was 76 by both Bob andDanny Roberts.

In the Ladies Medal on Saturday, 3 December 5players took part, the overall winner was ValerieEadle with a Nett 72 followedin second place by Margaret Moggridgewith a Nett 74.
Unfortunately due to the heavy fog on Tuesdaythe Ladies Medal was cancelled.
Seniors Competitions
The Winter League (singles) and the TokenGesture (pairs Greensomes) are progressing well.In the singles the first stage leagues are nearcompletion with Gerry Shaw(League 6) Peter French(L7), Ian Walton(L3), Reg Mitchell(L4) and Graham Ford(L8) winning their respective leagues while DaveMusson (L6) and GrahamLestor (L7) have progressedgaining 2nd places the their league.

15th December - monthly roll-up - sign-up sheeton the board
19th December - Texas Scramble - sign-up sheeton the board.
We have a record number of entrants so far. Theprizes are provided by the Captain andVice-Captain and a light lunch is provided bythe section.
There will be a draw with proceeds to charityand the section, please bring prizes.
