Competition news 

Gents Weekend Medal

In the Gents Weekend Medal there were 84 playerstaking part with some very impressive scoresacross both days with some as low as Nett 62resulting the CSS going down to 68!

Div 1: 1st - Paul Allen Nett 66, 2nd - JackStevens Nett 66, 3rd - Clive Dickenson Nett 66
Div 2: 1st - Chris Mckechnie Nett 62, 2nd - MikeThompson Nett 62, 3rd - Mark Edgar Nett 65
Div 3: 1st - Stan Green Nett 63, 2nd - MarkProsser Nett 63, 3rd - Paul McNulty Nett 66
Lowest Gross: Clive Dickenson 72

On Saturday the Juniors played in the TermlyStableford which was won by Will Smith with anexcellent 39 Points.


Seniors section  

Seniors update

Clarrie is currently away in Australia and sent methis great photo while playing golf in Sydney - hetells me it has its distractions and was a bitwindy!

There were some excellent scores posted in theSeniors Medal held on Thursday 30 March.

In Division 1, Eddie Birney was the winner with66, Ken Groom second with 66 (cb) and PeteFrench third with 68.

In Division 2, Rob Bruce triumphed with a fine62, followed by Derek Firmin in second with 64and Bob Thiele (68) third.

The finals of both the Winter Singles and TokenJ'Esture competitions took place on Tuesday 4thApril. In the Singles, Gerry Shaw took acompetitive match with Reg Mitchell by 3 and 2.In the greensomes, John Duffin and Graham Kellyjust held off Norman Cofield and Bob Thiele by 2and 1.
