I hope you've all had a great week on and offthe golf course and welcome to another editionof the KGC Weekly Newsletter bringing you up todate with all the latest news from the club.
BMW PGA Championship Wentworth
What a great event this was with an incrediblefinal day score by the Swede Alex Noren and aWest Course record of 62 enough to win thetournament by 2 strokes.
Noren started the day 7 strokes off the leadwhich makes his victory even more impressive.
Staff and Members who attended the event saidwhat a great experience they had.

Ceejay Trophy
Great to see lots of juniors enjoying thehalf-term this week at the golf club.
Well done to Markos Carr winning the CeejayTrophy on Sunday with 40 points, in second wasDeclan Kip with 38 points. Also it was great tosee our new Junior Members Huw Jones and JamieRawal taking part in their first competitions.
Burford GC, Oxfordshire County GirlsChampionships
Three of our Junior Girls Izy Edwards, ElishaGujral and Ellie Mitchell participated in theOxfordshire County Girl's Championships onWednesday 31st May at Burford Golf Club. Izycame second in the Medal competition and Ellie2nd in the Stableford section with 38 Points.All girls that played got a handicap reduction.http://www.olcga.org.uk/
Midweek Stableford
In the Midweek Stableford lastWednesday we had an incredible 50 players takingpart, with as many as seven players posting 40points or better! Jack Stevens posted a levelgross 70 for 42 points but still finished in 4thspot! The overall winner with a magnificent 44points was Leon Slade, in 2nd was Graham Kelly43 Points and in third Daniel Leggett with 42Points.
In the Midweek 2's competition it was anotherrollover the second in a row so there is now anadditional £20in the pot for the next midweek medal onWednesday 7 June.

Senior Roll-Up
On the Monday 22 May 32 seniors took part in themonthly roll-up which took the form of a 3/4person team Texas Scramble. There were 4 teamswithin one stroke of the eventual winners. Fullresults were: - 1st - Ian Walton, Bob Thiele,Derek Knowlden, Bernie Blanchard Nearest the pinwinners were John McHarg and Kevin Crumell
Seniors Match
On Thursday 18 May the Seniors maintained theirunbeaten home record with a comprehensive 5 - 1defeat of Radley. With many of the regular teamplayers unavailable the result was verypleasing. Larry and Mike L won a verycompetitive Captains match on the 17th. Otherwinners were Ian T/ Laurie B, Geoff S/Tony B,Alan C /Chris B and Jim L/ Tony W
Seniors medal
On Thursday 25 May 45 Seniors took part in themonthly medal. Kevin Crumell posted the lowestgross score in Senior Competitions of the yearposting a 74 for a nett 64 winning Division 1.He was however outdone by veteran Chris Tierneywho turned back the years winning Division 2with a nett 64. Full results were: -
