Club news 

Thisweekend we look forward to the big one and theClub Championships. 

The draw has been made for Day 1 and it lookslike being a very close call to see who can comeout on top over the two days! 

And this year to add to the excitement in theevent of a tie after 36 holes there will be a 4Hole Playoff being played over 10, 11, 12 andfinishing on 18 in front of the Clubhouse!

The July weekend medal

The July Weekend Medal was won by JackStevens with a magnificent -9Nett 60 and also the lowest Gross of the weekendwith a 72, he was however nursing a very sorehead next day following celebrating a bit tooheavily on the Saturday night!

In the Junior Termly Stableford on Saturday thiswas won by Sachin Gujralwith 33 Points with Markos Carrthe runner-up with 32 Points.


Seniors Report

Senior Club Matches - After the postponement dueto waterlogging of the home match againstAylesbury Vale the return away match was playedin very wet conditions. In a close match we lost4 - 2 with wins in the captains match byClarrie/Jim D and in the last match with PeterF/Brian L. 

Three of the other matches were very close withtwo being decided on the last hole. There arematch sheets for the next two matches on theSeniors noticeboard, away v Witney Lakes (14July) and home to Carswell (28July) - pleasesign up. 

July Roll-up 

This is on July 11th - start 9.00am (sign in by8.45 am) - sign-up sheet on the Noticeboard. 

Senior Captains Day 

On the 4th July the Seniors Captains Day wasplayed as a Texas Scramble. A total of 15 teamsplayed and the competition was very close withthree teams having a net score in the 64s. Theoverall winner was decided on countback,congratulations to Glen, Graham and Peter.
