Hi All, 

I hope you are all having a great week. It isincredible that we are now just one week awayfrom the Ryder Cup over in Hazeltine NationalClub Minnesota! 

Golf Care's ambassador and 3 times Ryder Cupcaptain Bernard Gallacher looks ahead to thegreatest golf event of the year in thisexclusive series, 'Bernard'sRyder Cup Countdown' giving his insightinto the key players for each team, what hethinks of Hazeltine and most importantly whetherEurope can make it a record 4 wins in a row! 

It is great to see so many young rookies in theEuropean Team and great for the game, at theclub this Sunday we had the Oxfordshire GirlsCalf Cup and Teddy Trophy being played on ourBlenheim 9 hole course, the weather was greatand it was fantastic to see so many youngstershaving a good time. 

This Sunday we have both the Junior TermlyStableford and the Girls Monthly Play Day Eventon our Blenheim 9 Hole Course.

Founder& Past Members 21st Anniversary

Still time to enter & come along to theEvening Buffet 

This Saturday it is the Founder Members &Past Member Trophies, still time to enter this;stamps are £3 with the competition sheets on thenotice board in the corridor. Following the golffrom 5:30pm - 7:00pm we have a social gatheringand buffet this is priced at just £8.00 perperson - a great way to meet up with current andpast members and to see who has won on the day!

Charity Golf Day Success - Friday, 16September 

A big well done to everyone that took part inthis year's Wooden Spoon Charity Golf eventraising a fantastic £2,500on the day for local disadvantaged children. 

The event was won by the team (pictured in thefirst image below holding the trophy) of KGCMembers Andy Herring, Collin & Matt Gregorand former member Roger Cross.

KGCGreenkeepers - @RustyFacts 

On Monday it was a long extended wet day helpingthe Greenkeepers get some winter prep on thegreens for Vertidrain and Solidtine work alongwith ironing the greens.

In Gent's Weekend Stableford there was a greatturnout of 88 players. The overall winner oncount-back was Mark Edgarwith 40 points followed by the in-form MarkosCarr in second and MarcJordon in third.

Midweek stableford

In the Gents Midweek Stableford on Wednesday wesaw incredible numbers with 47 players takingpart! Despite Greenworks having taken place thescoring was impressively low with the StandardScratch once again at 68 (38pts). 

The overall winner was Chris McNultywith 44 points followed in second place by MarcJordan on 42 points just aheadof Pete Milton who was third place oncount-back.
