Here at the club on Friday we held our firstSrixon Club Fitting Day Experience, this provedto be another great success amongst both membersand visitors. UK Fitting Technician &Fitting Manager Martin Conner was on handcarrying out the fittings helping to match theperfect shaft with the ideal custom grip andcorrect head combination.
It is great to see Srixon's growing popularityboth among pros and amateurs of the game,offering great value and delivering ultimateperformance and game improvements for players atevery level of the game. Currently in the ProShop we have the latest Srixon range in stock atfantastic value also.

MidweekCompetition Announcement
Please be aware that the committee have decidednot to run the midweek medal and Stableford's inNovember and December, this is due to theshorter days and the low number of entriesexpected because of this.
It has really been fantastic to see the amazingsupport and numbers taking part for all theseMid-Week Medal & Stableford events from allsections of the club throughout this year withsome great scores being posted along the way!

Club Match Result
Forthe first time Kirtlington Gents beat BicesterGents away from home, with the final score being3 - 2. There were wins for Stan Green/GiulioViglieno 2&1; Trevor Graham/Steve Booker2&1 and for Paul Slade/Marcos Carr 3&1.
In what we believe is a first, Kevin Crumell wasthe winner of Division 1 in both the WeekendMedal and now also the Weekend Stableford in thesame month. A great achievement with Kevinrepresenting the senior section fantasticallywell!

In the final Midweek Stableford on Wednesday19th of the year 45 players participated withAlberto Barraclough winning with a magnificent43 points, followed in second place by RafeKennedy shooting a scratch 70 score 41 Pointsand in third was Doug Haynes on 40 Points.
In the Weekend Stableford on Saturday15th & Sunday 16th this tookplace in some very mixed weather conditions,those playing on the Sunday morning were veryunfortunate to encounter the heavy rain.
The Overall Winner for the weekend with 41points was Gerard Pearcewith Mike Pricein second and Kevin Crumellin third place with 40 points.

On Wednesday, 12 OctoberMidweek Medal saw some great scoring once againand even an Eagle 2 on the 18th in front of theSpike Bar in the Clubhouse… Of the 32 playerstaking part the overall winner with a Nett 64was Tony Whitlock,in second place was Rafe Kennedywith a Nett 65 and also the lowest gross (71) inthird place was Grahame Lesterwith a Nett 65.
Ladies Weekend Stableford Saturday 15th& Sunday 16th - Well done toIsabel Edwards who was victorious with 39 Pointsalong with the lowest gross (78), in secondplace was Valerie Eadle with 38 Points and inthird place was Jackie Thompson 35 Points.

Senior Club Matches
The seniors completed their season with acomprehensive win against Aylesbury Vale intheir rearranged match. The 5 - 1 scorelinereflected Kirtlington dominance with wins forClarrie/Jim D in the captains match, MikeB/David M, Pete M/ Mike L, Peter f/Brian L andGeoff S/ Ian G. It was Geoff Smailes first matchof the year and he was the 45th Senior torepresent the club this year, thank you for allthe support.

The Winter League has now been drawn andcirculated, please, ensure the December deadlinefor the group stages is met. The deadline forentries to the pairs competition, The TokenJesture, is next week, please sign up.
