Masters Weekend
Lots going on this week and of courseit has been the build up to the Masters Weekend!This year we have An incredible field of 77players - one of the highest we have ever had!To view the draw for Day 1 please clickhere
On Friday we kick this off with the Masters 9Hole Contest on the Blenheim Course this Friday16:00-18:30 - still time to book your tee time.
It is
£5entry and we have prizes for the best gross, bestnett (1/4 handicap) and nearest the pin on the 3rdand 9th holes! I've spoken to the Greenkeepers andthey said they will put out some testing pinpositions for this! For more details

Central 7's Champions
On Saturday we got a photo of our GreenCentral 7's Division 4 Champions from lastseason pictured with the Cup before theirfirst match of the new season.
Results
The Green Team in Division 3 lost at home toWychwood GC 3-0 In Division 6 the Blue Teamwon their first game of the season 3-0 at hometo Banbury 2. Clickhere for more details.
Scratch League
On Saturday the Scratch Team maintained theirunbeaten start to the season with a great draw1.5 each at The Oxfordshire Golf Club. Thismeant they remain top of the league 4 pointsahead of Buckingham. For more details clickhere
Midweek Stableford
In the Gents Midweek Stableford lastWednesday a great turnout of 47 players takingpart. In 1st place was Ashley Cawte with 42points, 2nd Richard Butler 41 Points and 3rdTom Stevens with 40 Points. On Sunday in theJohn Batten Pairs Trophy this was won by thepairing of Tom Stevens and Eddie Birney withan impressive 80 points!
The Moonwalk London 2017 Charity Eventin aid of Breast Cancer
Pleasesupport Jan Kavanagh & Jude Carr (andthe rest of their team "Jan's Joggers") arewalking a marathon (26.2 miles) aroundLondon overnight on 13th May.
4 weeks later Sarah Fisher will be walking ahalf marathon (13.1 miles) around Edinburghovernight on 10th June.
Both of these challenges are to raise moneyto support a variety of vital breast cancercauses.

Seniors Report
TwoSeniors matches have been played in thelast week, away at Carswell and away atCherwell Edge. Both resulted in losses bythe score of 4 points to 2.
At Carswell Larry and Geoff Smailes halvedthe Captains' Match plus a halve forStuart Weston and Peter Jolly, with theonly winners being Mike Lisseter andGraham Ford.
At Cherwell Edge wins were recorded byPete Milton and Tony Whitlock (in hisfirst match for the club) plus MikeLisseter (again) and Geoff Smailes.
Our next match is against Studley Wood athome on Tuesday 9 May. Let's hope we getsome good weather for the Masters nextweek.
