Club news 

Gents Friendly V's Bicester Golf Club

On Sunday afternoon in the scorching sunshinethe Kirtlington Gents took on Bicester Golf Clubin a friendly with Bicester coming out 7-1winners.

It was an enjoyable day forging greatrelationships between the two clubs and raising£96 for the winning team captains charity GuideDogs for the Blind. We look forward to welcomingBicester to our club later in the year.

Skylark Winners

Last Sunday it was the Skylark competitionteeing off at 6am Shotgun start followed by awell-earned full English Breakfast andChampagne!

Well done to the team of Richard Carr (centre),Lawrence Eadle (left) and Josh Edwards (right)on winning the Skylarks.

Ladies Day Out to Ascot Races!

On Tuesday the ladies were off to Ascot Races

Senior Roll-Up

On Thursday 15 June 37 seniors took part in themonthly roll-upwhich reverted back toStableford. In a close contest Mike Lisseter ranout the winner with 40 points. Full resultswere: -

1st Mike Lisseter 40 points, 2nd Jim Lodge 39points, Equal 3rdMike Boniface and ChrisMcNulty 

Nearest the pin winners were Clarrie Haynes andMike Boniface

Seniors Match

On Monday 19 June the seniors continued theirfine run of home form to maintain their unbeaten100% home match record. Playing Aylesbury Valeit looked at one time that this record would gobut late surges in 2 matches ensured the recordremained intact. Larry and Peter J came from 2down to win the captains match on the last holewhilst Gerry S / Jim L came from 3 down to sharethe match by winning the 18th. Other winnerswere Paul R/Jim D, Stuart W/David H and GrahamF/ Laurie W.

MJQMemorial Golf Day
