On Saturday the Scratch Teamtravelled to Carswell Golf Club in the OxfordshireFoursomes League with Carswell victorious 2-1.

Kirtlington winning team -Jack Stevens & Gary Quainton 4&3. Well done toanother one of our junior players Markos Carr makinghis first scratch team appearance.

The next game is at home toCarswell on Saturday 2nd June.

SeniorsRoll-Up

On Monday 21st May a totalof 33 Seniors played as 11 3-balls in a Texas Scramblecompetition. The excellent weather meant scoringconditions were very favourable and teams needed topost scores in the low 60’s to be in contention. Fullresults were: -

1st Graham Kelly, GerryShaw, Peter Slade 60.5
2nd Clarrie Haynes, Stuart Weston, Peter French 62.3
3rd Peter Milton, Peter Jolly, Tony Bastable 63.0

Nearest the pin winners werePaul Craddock (16th) and Terry Garrett (4th)

Senior Club Matches

In thematch against Radley Kirtlington continued theirimpressive home form by gaining a 5 – 1 victory.Stuart Weston/Pete Milton won the captains matchwhilst Larry Blackwell/Ian Taylor, GeoffSmailes/Trevor Roberts and Laurie Bryant/Graham Fordall had comprehensive wins, the games completed by the14th hole. The other Kirtlington winners were GeordieMawson,/Tony Bastable with Clarrie/Jim Lodge losing inthe last pairing.
