Kirtlington juniors do themselves proud... It was an incredible day last Sunday as the club welcomed over 100 Juniors for the British Junior Golf Tour to Kirtlington Golf Club! Here is part of the wonderful write-up that the Tour gave us!
"Kirtlington Golf Club just re-wrote the Junior Open Guidelines rulebook!
From dedicated ‘Players' Car Park’ to pin sheets and course guide, refreshments on the course as well as a lovely BBQ by the putting green, everyone who attended was made to feel very special for a fantastic day's golf. Pam and Gary could not have done any more, along with Wes on the tee and the marshals on the course - the BJGT would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day a great success! With the course playing hard and fast, there was the opportunity for players to go low and some certainly took advantage of favourable conditions. Local knowledge also came in very handy, as home players rose to the top of the leaderboards."

On the day it also great to welcome the CEO of the PGA European Golf Tour Keith Pelley who was making space in his busy schedule to come and see the event and also watch his son playing. As a club, we would also like to thank all our members that were playing on the Sunday morning for their cooperation with the car parking - we hope you also enjoyed your free pint as well!
To all our incredible volunteers, you were all amazing! Club Captain Wes, Lady Captain Tracey and Judy and our on-course marshals Dave, Ged and James.
