Thursday 21st November: Seniors Medal
The weather for this month's medal was cold and frosty (at least for early starters) which meant it was fairly tricky putting on the greens. Most of the snow from earlier in the week had disappeared other than for the headless snowman on the the 13th!
With conditions tricky scores were not as good as normal but Melvin Simpson came out as the overall winner with a level par 70 (nett) on the day. Well done Melvin.
The top six in each division were as follows:
Division One: 1st - Melvin Simpson (nett 70), 2nd - Clive Dickenson (nett 71), 3rd - Kevin Crumell (nett 71), 4th - Denis Gaiger (nett 72), 5th - Andrew Weale (nett 73) and 6th - Eddie Birney (nett 74).
Division Two: 1st - David Musson (nett 71), 2nd - Graham Fullagar (nett 73), 3rd - David Powell (nett 73), 4th - Michael Boniface (nett 74), 5th - Brendan Hattam (nett 76) and 6th - Roy Quelch (nett 76).
Best gross score of the day was returned by Clive Dickenson with a 74.
